Who we are
This website, threeriverscomfort.com, is operated by Happy Life Marketing, a sole proprietorship based in New Brunswick, Canada. It publishes information about furnace and air conditioning work in Fort Wayne and passes requests to independent local heating and cooling businesses in the Fort Wayne area, who quote and do the work.
Your details are handled in Canada. When you send the form, what you type is received and stored by us in Canada before it is passed to a business in Indiana. We are telling you this plainly because it is your information and you should know where it goes. Canadian privacy law applies to how we handle it, and the privacy laws of your own state apply to your rights over it. Both are covered below.
What we collect
When you send the form, we collect what you type into it: your full name, phone number, email address, street address, city or town, the type of job, when you would like it done and any details you add. We also record that you ticked the consent box.
Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the site secure. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own.
Why we collect it
We use your details to pass your request to a local HVAC contractor so they can contact you and quote, to reply if you contact us, and to keep a record of which contractor received your request.
Who we pass it to
We pass the details you send to one independent local HVAC contractor, who may contact you about the job. Once a business has your details, it handles them under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your details to anyone else for marketing.
The form is delivered through Web3Forms, an email form service, and the site is hosted on Cloudflare. They process the data only to provide those services.
How long we keep it
We keep request records for as long as we need them to handle the job and keep track of referrals, and no longer than two years.
Your rights
Under the privacy laws of your state, for example the CCPA in California, you can ask for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Ask through the contact page and we will reply within the time the law sets. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the privacy regulator for your state.
Because we operate from Canada, Canadian privacy law also applies to us. It gives you the same core rights: to know what we hold, to see it, to have mistakes corrected, and to complain. Use the same email address for any of it. A complaint about how we have handled your details can also go to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
We will not ask you to prove who you are beyond what we need to be sure we are not giving your details to someone else.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version goes on this page with a new date.
